For nearly 11 years, I battled with excess weight, a struggle that intensified when I transitioned to working night shifts. During my seven-year tenure at Barclays Bank Salary Department, the pressure of processing large payroll lists at month-end often led to desk-bound lunches and dinners.
In those days, my diet consisted primarily of junk food. I had developed unhealthy eating habits, shunning vegetables and foregoing hydration in favor of cigarettes, coffee, and sodas. It’s a familiar tale, isn’t it?
When the scale tipped at 76 kilograms, I knew it was time to reclaim control over my health and weight for a better quality of life.
In a nutshell: I shed 18.7 kilograms in just five months, all without setting foot in a gym.
